Years at Alpharetta High School: 3 Coaching Career Experience: 2008 – present Alpharetta High School: Football Responsibilities: Freshmen Running Backs/Linebackers, Varsity & JV Wide Receivers. 2006 – 2008 Northview High School: Football Responsibilities: JV Head Coach, JV Offensive Coordinator, JV Running Backs, JV Defensive Backs, JV Linebackers. 2004 - 2006 North Springs High School: Football Responsibilities: Varsity Running Backs, JV Defensive Backs Favorite thing about coaching: My favorite thing about coaching is making a difference in the lives of these young men. Football teaches a lot of life lessons about commitment, hard work, perseverance and humility. I really enjoy the opportunity I have to positively impact my players and be there as a mentor both on and off the field Playing Career: 3 Year Letterman (Cornerback) - University of Alabama 1992-1996: 1993 Sugar Bowl; 1994 Gator Bowl; 1995 Citrus Bowl Education: University of Alabama, Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management -1996 Short Bio: I attended Pontotoc High School in Pontotoc, Mississippi where I was a four sport athlete in football, basketball, baseball and track. My performance in football as a free safety and quarterback earned me the following honors: Recognized by Recruiting Analyst, Tom Lemming as one of the Top 100 Football Recruits - 1991; Selected to the Tupelo Daily Journal All Area Team; Jackson Clarion-Ledger Top 40 Football Recruits; Selected to 1992 Mississippi All Star Game; First Team All Division – Free Safety & Quarterback. In 1992, I graduated and accepted an invitation from Head Coach Gene Stallings to walk on at the University of Alabama as a cornerback. While at Alabama, I was a 3 year letterman including the 1992 season in which the Crimson Tide won the National Championship by defeating Miami 34 – 13 in the Sugar Bowl. My current day-to-day responsibilities include serving as Director of Strategic Accounts with Priority Payment Systems. My wife, Sandi and I have 2 children, Nesean (currently a freshmen at AHS) and Colton (2).
